Nicole Swanson is dedicated to working with clients and helping them achieve long-term goals. After starting her studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an Accounting major, Nicole switched to Personal Finance so she would have more opportunities to directly interact with clients. She enjoys getting to know people, learning about their background, and then developing a customized financial plan that will hopefully exceed their expectations for what life can look like in retirement (or even when they can retire).
After starting her career at Merrill Lynch in Madison, Nicole moved to Minneapolis in 2018 to join the team at Flourish Wealth Management. She chose to work at Flourish because she enjoys working at a boutique firm in a team environment that utilizes a broad array of financial tools and technology.
Nicole earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation in 2017 after completing eight courses and two exams focused on real-life applications of key financial planning concepts and is currently a candidate in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) program.
Nicole has embraced opportunities to volunteer at various organizations throughout her years in college and as an important part of her professional life. She is particularly motivated to volunteer at organizations that work with kids because she is passionate about helping them in any way possible.
Nicole has provided in-school tutoring services at Schools of Hope, led a group of volunteers supporting young kids at the YWCA Children’s Program in Madison, rocked babies in the NICU at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis and is currently volunteering with Tubman Child Care to look after children while their parents get educational and mental health support. Nicole is enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with the team at Flourish Wealth Management, working directly with clients, and supporting the long-term growth of the firm.
Nicole recently moved to Minnesota from Madison and lives in Blaine with her fiancée, Nick Johnson. They are planning to get married in October 2019.
