Shelly Fayard-Rerat is committed to the Flourish Wealth Management mission to help women and families in transition. She enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with clients and colleagues while working as a team to support the long-term success of the firm.
Shelly moved to Edina after completing her degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Southern Mississippi. She successfully raised her three children and supported a variety of philanthropic organizations until rejoining the workforce after her divorce.
Shelly has demonstrated her skills in client service, community involvement, office management, and event planning. She is passionate about getting to know people, learning connections in their life, and then working with the Flourish team to exceed service expectations. Shelly chose to work at Flourish because she appreciates the opportunity to be part of a female-owned firm that supports women in wealth while providing financial education.
Shelly has embraced opportunities to volunteer at a variety of local philanthropic organizations throughout her years as a mother and as a professional. She continues to be involved with the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, Our Lady of Grace Parish and her son’s school in Edina. Building a successful community has always been important to Shelly and she has continued to find ways to lend her skills and talents to support organizations as a volunteer and as a leader.
Shelly is excited to work at a firm that supports multiple local charities, is active in the community, focuses on women, and provides financial education through the Flourish Blog along with Kathy’s book Flourish Financially.
Shelly is originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast before moving to Minnesota. She has three children Grace Ann, Lauren, and George.
