Michele Lenz, CFP®
Michele Lenz brings a passionate approach for helping clients develop a customized financial plan to Flourish Wealth Management. Her roots in financial planning started during her early college years at University of Wisconsin-Madison when she was looking for a major that would provide an opportunity to have a positive impact on people. After switching majors from International Studies to Personal Finance, she became very involved with developing the curriculum for the program while incorporating community outreach. Michele led a Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) research study that focused on behavioral finance to understand how the perspectives of each individual impact their money decisions as a reflection of their attitudes and beliefs about money. As President of the Financial Occupations Club for University Students (FOCUS), she helped develop financial life skills courses that are offered to students at UW-Madison. In addition, Michele led efforts to provide community education about finances as a volunteer for Junior Achievement along with helping prepare tax returns for lower income families through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) organization. Her passion for financial planning stems from a desire to provide unbiased information about key components of financial literacy to people of all ages.
Kelli Hengel is dedicated to helping people with their money matters. She started working with money at an early age, beginning her career as a Bank Teller in High School. This early exposure to working with clients led Kelli to pursue a degree in Finance at Winona State University with aspirations to build a long-term career focused on working with people to find happiness with their money. After graduation, she left the banking industry to become a wealth manager earning experience in operations, investments, and client service. As Kelli added skills and experience, her goal to become a wealth manager working with a dedicated group of clients continued to develop so she made time to earn a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of St. Thomas. After spending the past few years at a local multi-family office, Kelli is excited about the opportunity to join the experienced team at Flourish Wealth management and embrace her entrepreneurial spirit.
