News from Flourish
Happy New Year! We say farewell to 2017 and welcome 2018 with open arms. Last year was a year of transition as we mentioned in our end of the year article that was sent out a few weeks ago. With a new year upon us, we are looking forward to growth, professional development and staying organized. It has been an exciting time at Flourish welcoming the new additions to our team (Kelly, Michelle, and Derek), and we also had the chance to speak with a great many of our clients in recent weeks due to opportunities from the new tax law and other end-of-year housekeeping.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be at our clients’ side during times of uncertainty as well as times of joy. Thank you for putting your faith in our expertise.

Before we discuss news from Flourish or share our quarterly article, we want to extend our most sincere condolences to the families affected by the senseless act of violence in Las Vegas. Additionally, our thoughts and prayers are with all of those impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria. These man-made tragedies and natural disasters are overwhelming individually and seemed to happen too close together. The astounding outpouring of assistance from neighbors, strangers, first responders and charities provided an important silver lining when we needed one and served as a much-needed reminder of how good we can be to one another.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG
And that means out with the old and in with the new. It is a good time of year to take stock of what has been sitting in your junk drawers untouched for one, two or even three years now. Will you ever really use that George Foreman grill? How many years has that stack of sweaters been sitting in a box in your basement? We tend to let things pile up in the hidden corners of our lives and for one reason or another, we don't eliminate them from our clutter. Often, we build right up on top of what we already have.
