In 1997, Circle of Women gathered 500 women to celebrate their power and to develop women as philanthropists in the community. The objective was to broaden the base of support for YWCA Minneapolis programs and help improve the future for women and girls in the Twin Cities. This year, we’re celebrating 25 years of this event, the lives changed and the progress made over the decades.
Our anniversary event will be held virtually, connecting supporters with our mission to eliminate racism and empower women and girls, while creating meaningful engagement through technology.
Help support our mission by joining us on May 18!

Michele Lenz joined the team at Flourish Wealth Management in late 2017 as Wealth Manager, working to directly support clients as they build long-term plans for the future. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Finance. Michele has remained dedicated to growing her financial planning knowledge and developing tools to support our clients. It is an impressive accomplishment to become a CFP® practitioner, adds a lot of value to our team, and we want to share some of Michele’s journey.
When approaching retirement, getting your finances organized is one of the first steps you should take.

Getting a clear financial picture can help ease the transition into retirement because, at the very least, you’ll know what accounts you will be drawing from, where they are being managed, how your investments can continue to generate income for you, and what tax liabilities they may impose. It requires discipline and clarity to keep your finances organized before and during retirement.
